With their new single ”Insecurity” MOUNT MARY continues rockin’ in the atmosphere of 70’s hard rock.
Lead vocalist-guitarist-riff generator Maria Hänninen has written this less than three-minute banger, where drummer Otto Haapanen
whips his drum set into flames.
The guitars of Petri Majuri and Hänninen spit out riffs, which are unwaveringly given extra boost by bassist Jukka Jylli .
Majuri’s howling solo guitar bites the spine, Hänninen roaring and twisting with her voice, on top of everything.
The lyrics deal with inner insecurity and lack of self-confidence, but as an antidote to those feelings, the band
offers healing organic rasp, unrestrainedly.
"Insecurity" is the first single released by Emsalö Music, from their 2nd album "Diamonds of a Fool", which will be released Aug18th, 2023.
Mount Mary strongly steers its own ship, but on the same waves of living, breathing rock music, you might meet bands like
Led Zeppelin, Cactus , Rival Sons and Greta Van Fleet.
